Founded in 1985 by Kevin Arnold and Ian Taylor, Hytek started off as a two man operation but quickly grew. The company’s first two full time employees Andy Seal and Clive Wellings remain with the company today and Kevin is still at the helm as managing director. Andy is now a director and Clive is technical manager. Hytek now has more than 30 employees and a fantastic reputation in the fuelling industry.
From its humble beginnings in 1985, Hytek expanded rapidly and soon outgrew its original Elsenham base. The company swelled to take up six separate units on an industrial estate. This became impractical, so in 2002, Hytek found a new home just down the road – near to Stansted Airport and the M11. The new custom built 20,000sq ft facility allows all staff and operations to be housed under one roof.

We have specialist knowledge in all the products we sell and how they are used. We listen to our customers and deliver the service or product that they want, when they want. Being friendly and polite to our customers may be an old fashioned value, but it is still vitally important in today's busy marketplace. We like to treat our customers well and offer them the very best advice and a first class service. It is also important that all of the Hytek team have fun, as when they are happy our customers are happy too!"
