On Site Fuel Test For Fuel Bug

The latest fuels contain a % of bio-fuel (up to 7%) & provide an ideal breeding ground for these bugs. Acting as a detergent cleaning the inside of storage tanks/pipework allowing dirt to be sucked up blocking filters. Resulting in vehicle downtime/appliance failures & hefty repair bills.
- 10 minute on site test, tests for microbes/diesel bug.
- Pregnancy style test proven over 10 years, used in the aircraft industry.
- Ideal to keep on service vans. (6 months shelve life)
- Only 250ml of fuel required for a test.
- Can be used to test diesel, heating oil & Kerosene.
- You will receive one of the following results:
Negative
Fit a tank dryer/water soaker and water/particle filter kit on the tank outlet.
Low positive
Remove free water and contaminated fuel and then fit items as above. Consider fitting a fuel conditioner.
High positive
Clean the storage tank, remove free water and contaminated fuel and then fit items as above. Consider fitting a tank re circulation kit.
NOTE:
To maintain good tank/fuel hygiene routinely test for water & diesel bug using water finding past & diesel bug test kits.
- If any test lines are not visible this is a positive result.
- If all control & test lines are visible this is a negative result.
- A difference in boldness in the control & test lines is normal.
