1. How can I see your prices online within this site?
Hytek sells to trade customers only. Just get in touch to set up an account, and then you will be able to login and see all the prices. Alternatively if you would like to be put in touch with a local distributor please contact us and we would be happy to put you in touch with your local agent.
2. Is it easy to buy online from Hytek?
When you are set up as a trade customer, you simply browse or search to the product you wish to purchase, click on the 'add' button and then 'confirm' the quantity you require to add this item to the shopping basket. Once you have selected all the items you require, proceed to the checkout where you will be asked to provide delivery details before being forwarded to a secure server where your credit card details will be taken, or you can have the goods charged to your trade account. It's that easy.
3. Can I order by post?
Yes. You can go through the shopping cart process, as described above, and opt to send a cheque as your preferred payment method. We will then keep your order on file while we await your cheque (please put our order number given on the receipt page on the reverse of the cheque so we can easily match the payment with the order). Once we have received the cheque your goods will be despatched. Alternatively you can download an order form from the Technical Information page, complete the product details and quantities, and send a cheque with the order. All correspondence should be sent to:-

4. Can I order by phone or fax?
Yes. You can place an order by telephone on 01279 815 600 Monday-Thursday 8.30am and 5.30pm and Friday 08:30-17:00, or by fax on 01279 812 978.
5. Can I buy direct from your trade counter?
No, but you can collect pre-ordered goods Monday-Thursday 8.30am and 5.30pm and Friday 08:30-17:00.

6. Which credit cards do you accept?
We accept: Visa, Mastercard, and Maestro. If you have any queries about card payments please e-mail us via email@example.com.
7. Do you offer any discounts?
Discounts may be available for large quantities. For further details please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your details, the item codes and quantity required and we will provide you with a specific quotation.
8. Do your prices include VAT?
All prices shown are in GB Pounds and exclude VAT. VAT will be added to all orders despatched to UK destinations. VAT will not be added to export orders provided we are able to obtain satisfactory evidence of export as required by HM Customs & Revenue.
9. Is there a minimum order value
No, we currently have no minimum order value, but remember carriage is free to UK mainland destinations if the order value is over £350.00, excluding VAT.
10. What is the login for?
Login is for previously approved trade credit accounts only, gives access to a wider range of information and allows you to order from us online. If you don't have an account then just contact us with your requirements.
11. Can I have a trade credit account?
Yes. Please contact us to arrange a trade account.
12. How are the products delivered and what is the cost?
Goods are shipped by via a courier.
Orders received by 4pm are despatched the same day where possible. (Excludes goods dispatched on a pallet). Requests to leave goods as 'unsigned' must be made at the time of ordering, and any such requests are made with the customer accepting liability. If you have any special delivery instructions please state these at the time of ordering. Goods may be delivered to a different address to the invoice address provided such requests are made at the time of ordering. Redirection requests made once the goods have been despatched may incur a charge.
12A. Zone 1: Mainland UK
This zone includes all parts of the UK not defined in zone 2. All goods despatched to this area via our couriers should be with you next business day if the order is placed before 4pm of the date of despatch from our premises. If the total order value* is £350.00 or greater then the order is shipped free of charge. If the total order value* is less than £350.00 delivery change will be £10.95. *Total order value exclusive of carriage & VAT.

12B. Zone 2: Scottish Highlands, Isle of Wight, Islands, Northern Ireland, Channel Isles, Scilly Isles and the Isle of Man

All goods despatched to this area via our couriers should be with you within 3-4 days of the date of despatch from our premises.
Total weight less than 20 Kgs and order value* over £350.00 delivery charge will be £15.00 Total weight less than 20 Kgs and order value* under £350.00 delivery charge will be £20.00 For order weights over 20 Kgs delivery charge will be on request.

12C. Zone 3: EU (including Ireland) and Non-EU countries
This zone includes Republic of Ireland, other EU member states and the rest of the world. All goods despatched to EU member states should be with you within 2-5 working days of the date of despatch from our premises. 13. What do I do if I ordered the wrong product?
We can only accept product returns as a result of incorrect ordering and only at our discretion. Products must not be returned to us without prior notification and must be unused, in good condition and in the original primary packing, which must also be in good condition and suitable for resale.
All returns will be subject to a handling charge of 20%. We must be notified within 7 days of receipt. Under no circumstances can we accept returns of non-catalogue items.
14. What do I do if I am not satisfied with the product?
All our products are rigorously checked to ensure they perform as claimed. In the unlikely event that a Hytek product fails to perform satisfactorily then please contact us immediately, so we can investigate the problem and take any action deemed necessary.
15. Is Hytek's ordering and payment systems secure?
Yes. Hytek uses the Protx Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available) to collect your credit and debit card payment details.
16. Will you pass my details to any third party?
