We are taking part in the Revolve24 cycle challenge over the weekend of September 16th & 17th at the world famous Brands Hatch race circuit to raise money for St Clare Hospice, a local charity specialising in end of life care.

Along with fellow Flowmax group company members IFC Inflow, Anglo Nordic & MechTronic, we are entering three mixed teams in the Revolve24 endurance event. The Flowmax group colleagues will cycle around the 3.9km track from midday on the 16th for a grueling 24 hours, through to midday the following day.

The teams have arranged sponsorship on their jerseys from suppliers & would like to thank everyone for their kind donations, which will go directly to the charity.

St Clare Hospice, based in Hastingwood just 20 minutes down the M11 from Hytek’s headquarters, provides care to those affected by life limiting illnesses & has a special link with the company. Hytek lost a much respected & popular colleague in 2013, when Peter Parker, succumbed to cancer having been part of the Hytek team for some 14 years.

Peter & his family were looked after in his final days by the hospice so Hytek, with help from other group colleagues, continue to support this worthy cause.

Clive Wellings, Hytek’s Research & Development manager, said: “St Clare Hospice helped our late colleague & friend Peter & his family immensely, so we’re delighted to contribute & help them continue their valuable work.”

The teams are putting in the hard hours of training in readiness for the big weekend. If you would like to support them & help raise funds for their worthy cause, please use this link.
